Standard Cancellation and Refund Policy
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Qualifies for: Complete reimbursement minus service charges
Processing Duration: 5-7 working days
Service Charge: €50 for card payments
Prerequisites: Must be solicited in written form via email or telephone communication
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Qualifies for: Half the total charter fee
Processing Duration: 7-10 working days
Service Charge: €25 removal from the refund amount
Prerequisites: A legitimate rationale is necessary; administrative costs are incurred
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Qualifies for: No reimbursement accessible
Exemption: Situations of urgency may be taken into consideration
Alternative Option: A charter credit might be granted at our discretion
Prerequisites: Emergency claims require documentation
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Commitment to Safety
We prioritize safety above all. If our certified captain assesses that weather conditions pose a safety risk for sailing, we offer adaptable options:
- Complete Reimbursement: A full refund if rescheduling is not an option
- Rescheduling Opportunity: Charter transfer to another available slot with no extra fees
- Charter Voucher: A credit that remains valid for one year from the original booking date
Assessment of Weather Conditions
Our evaluation of weather encompasses:
- An analysis of wind velocities and patterns
- Wave stature and oceanic conditions
- The range of visibility and weather forecasts
- Advisories and alerts from the Coast Guard
- The safety review by a professional captain
Decision Timeframe: Determinations regarding weather cancellations are made at the latest 4 hours prior to the intended departure time.
Refunds in Medical Emergencies
Cases of Urgency
We understand that medical crises may arise. The following are scenarios that may be eligible for special consideration:
- Unexpected sickness or injury that leads to hospitalization
- Losing an immediate family member
- Unforeseen military summons or recalls
- Being called for jury service or receiving a court subpoena
- Catastrophic events that impede travel
Required Proof
For processing these exceptional refunds, we will require:
- A note from a medical professional or hospital records
- A certificate of passing (when applicable)
- Verified military directives
- A jury summons or legal mandate
- Public advisories or declarations of an emergency
Processing: Requests for emergency refunds are executed within 3-5 business days once appropriate documentation is provided.
Cancellations for Operational Reasons
Equipment Malfunctions
Should the yacht assigned to you suffer mechanical issues that are irreparable:
- Substitute Craft: We will endeavor to arrange for an equivalent replacement
- Complete Reimbursement: Granted if no similar yacht is available
- Partial Reimbursement: Given if the replacement yacht has a different fee
- Compensation: Additional recompense may be considered for the inconvenience caused
Unavailability of Crew
On rare occasions when a certified crew is not available:
- A substitute crew is arranged whenever possible
- A full refund is provided if the charter cannot proceed
- Option to reschedule without any added costs
Processing of Refunds
Method of Payment
Reimbursements are relayed back to the initial payment method:
- Credit Cards: Processed within 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: Processed within 7-10 business days
- Cash/Check: Processed within 3-5 business days
Charges for Processing
Credit Card Charges
€50 fee for repeals requested more than 72 hours ahead of the charter
Bank Transfer Charges
€25 fee for all bank transfer reimbursements
International Charges
Supplementary fees may be levied for transactions outside domestic borders
Charter Vouchers
Instances for Voucher Issuance
Credits for charters might be provided as an alternate resolution under specific circumstances:
- Last-minute cancellations (within 24 hours of the charter)
- Cancellations linked to weather conditions
- Client-initiated requests to reschedule
- Disruptions due to operational issues
Credit Conditions
- Validity: 12 months commencing from the date of issue
- Transfer Rights: Credits cannot be shifted to other individuals
- Value: Corresponds to the complete value of the charter sans processing charges
- Application: Applicable towards any charter available
- Expiry: Credits are non-extendable past the 12-month period
Compensation for Partially Rendered Services
Service Disruptions
If your charter is curtailed or terminated due to factors within our oversight:
- Proportional refund based on the unutilized duration
- Credit for a subsequent charter of identical value
- Complimentary services or class upgrades
Guest-Caused Interruptions
In instances where the charter concludes prematurely due to the behavior of guests or infringement of safety protocols:
- No reimbursement for the time remaining unused
- Payment in full is still required
- Potential additional costs may be applied
Discrepancies in Refund Decisions
If you find yourself at odds with a decision pertaining to refunds, you are able to:
- Submit a petition for reevaluation to our management crew
- Include further supporting documents or proof
- Look for a settlement through consumer advocacy entities
- Explore legal channels as per the jurisdictional laws

After we receive your petition, we will confirm within 24 hours, cross-check it with our rules, reach a conclusion within 48 hours, and enact any sanctioned refunds according to the specified timeframes.

- Refund petitions need to be filed in written form
- Refunds are conducted in € regardless of the original currency used for payment
- We highly suggest obtaining travel insurance
- This policy may be updated given a notice period of 30 days
